I wanted to thank my friends for placing a Stampin’ Up order with me so I made these cute little milk carton boxes (SU! Sizzix die) and decorated them with SU! embellishments/paper. They turned out so cute, I wanted to share.

Watercolor Pencils and Crayons Discontinued!

It is with deep saddness that I have to annouce that SU is discontinuing their Watercolor Pencils and Crayons:

Due to unforeseen problems with our supplier for Watercolor Wonder Crayons and Watercolor Pencils, we have decided to discontinue these two products.

Watercolor Pencils (item 101879) and Watercolor Wonder Crayons Brights Collection (item 119804), which have been on the Backorder Report for about a week, will no longer be available, effective immediately. If your order has not been shipped due to its status in backorder, we will not be able to fill it. We will soon begin processing refunds for these items. Keep in mind that it may take a few days to see the reimbursement in your account.

Now for the good news! We still have the remaining collections of the Watercolor Wonder Crayons available to order. The Subtles (item 119802), Neutrals (item 119805), and Regals (item 119803) Collections are only available while supplies last. Get ‘em before they’re gone!

This is hard news for me to take because I have absolutely loved my pencils and crayons.  I do hope they can bring them back eventually.

Stampin Up Colors are Being Refreshed!

Just got word from the Stampin’ Up Demostrator site that the Stampin’ Up colors are being refreshed.  Every few years, SU! will refresh their colors in order to stay on trend.  Color is the most important part of our creativity (well, second to paper that is).  In order to keep their palettte from becoming stale, SU refreshes their colors every few years.  Colors that are retiring are now available “while supplies last”.  If there were any colors you were hoping to get to complete your color library, take a look at the color key below and see if you need to grab a retiring color before its gone.  Contact me directly at carolscrops@gmail.com to place your order.

Back to my roots…

Several years ago I started focusing on cards and papercraft gifts.  Until last weekend, I hadn’t really gotten my pictures and albums out for quite some time.  It was nice to get back to my roots at last weekend’s crop and actually complete some scrapbook pages.  Ever since JoJo, Debbie, Gloria and I stopped at Tammi Potter’s Wish in the Wind booth at GASC, I have been addicted to mosaic pages.  They are the bomb!  I had so much fun doing these pages, I may not go back to cards for awhile.  Ha!  Who am I kidding?  I’ll just do both. ;- )
